Help for children who cannot sit still, focus, or wait
Homework that takes three hours. Instructions that never land. A child who is up and moving before you have finished the sentence.
ADHD is not laziness or poor discipline. It is a difference in how attention and self-control develop, and with the right structure around a child, it gets easier to live with.
Does this sound like your week?
Most parents come to us not with a diagnosis, but with a week that keeps going wrong in the same places. If several of these are familiar, you are in the right place:
- Homework takes hours, with most of it spent getting started or drifting off.
- Instructions need repeating three or four times before anything happens.
- Constant movement, fidgeting, or climbing on things that are not for climbing.
- Blurting out, interrupting, or struggling to wait for a turn.
- Big reactions to small frustrations, and a slow recovery afterwards.
- Reports from school that your child is bright but not listening, or disruptive.
None of these on their own mean very much, and every child has some of them sometimes.
Clinicians group these patterns into three presentations: mostly inattentive, mostly hyperactive-impulsive, or a combination of both. Most children show a mix, and the quiet, inattentive pattern is the one most often missed.
What matters is the pattern, and how much it is costing your family. You do not need to be certain before you ask.
Do you need a diagnosis first?
This is the question we are asked most, and the answer depends on what you are trying to do. The two routes answer different questions, and plenty of families end up wanting both.
Route 1: A formal diagnosis
Answers: what does my child have?
Carried out by psychologists, psychiatrists or paediatricians, not by us. It is the route that unlocks school accommodations and, if it is ever considered, medication. It is thorough, and here it can mean months of waiting.
Tell us this is what you want and we will point you to clinicians we trust.
Route 2: Start with a screening
Answers: what does my child need help with?
A couple of hours rather than a couple of months. It is not a diagnosis and we will never call it one, but it is enough to begin work on focus, impulse control and routines, and to tell you whether a full assessment is worth pursuing.
Plenty of families do both. Some start with us and pursue a diagnosis later. Others arrive with one already in hand. Whichever order you take it in, the question becomes the same: what actually helps.
Why behaviour support for ADHD?
For most families here, medication is the first thing suggested, and for many children it helps a great deal. It is not the only option, and it is not usually the whole answer.
We use Applied Behaviour Analysis, the evidence-based science of why behaviour happens and how it changes. It starts from a simple idea: behaviour is learned, it happens for a reason, and what surrounds it can be reshaped. That applies to attention and self-control as much as anything else. Three reasons it suits ADHD:
It works on the moment, not the label
We look at where attention and self-control actually break down for your child. The start of homework, the transition after recess, the queue at the water cooler. Then we teach a strategy that fits that moment.
It builds skills rather than managing symptoms
Medication can improve focus while it is in the system. Skills like breaking down a task, checking your work, or pausing before speaking stay with your child once they are learned.
It works with medication, or without it
Many of the children we support take medication and many do not. Behaviour support does not compete with it. If anything, the two tend to work better together.
Whether medication is right for your child is a conversation for you and your doctor, and a good one to have. Ours is a different one: what your child can learn to do, and how to teach it.
What Changes for Your Child
In practice, that means working on things like these.
Start and Finish Things
Breaking a task into steps a child can actually hold in their head, and building the habit of returning to it. Homework, packing a bag, getting dressed without three reminders.
Pause Before Acting
The gap between an impulse and acting on it can be taught. We practise waiting, taking turns, and stopping to think, in the moments where it is genuinely hard.
Handle Big Feelings
Frustration, anger and disappointment hit harder when self-control is still developing. We build coping strategies your child can use in the moment.
Get Through the School Day
Sitting through a lesson, staying with the group, keeping track of what was asked. We work on classroom demands directly, and with teachers where that helps.
Keep Friendships Going
Interrupting, dominating games, missing social cues. We work on the things that make other children drift away, so friendships last longer than a playdate.
Routines That Hold at Home
Mornings, mealtimes, screens, bedtime. The routines that decide whether a day feels manageable, built to work for your family rather than an ideal one.
Why Trust Us with Your Child
Behaviour Specialists, Internationally Certified
ADHD support is a crowded field. Focus programmes, coaching, brain training, tuition that promises better attention. Much of it sits outside any professional standard.
Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) is the international qualification for working on behaviour and learning. It requires supervised clinical hours, an examination and ongoing ethics obligations, and it can be checked on a public register. Every programme here is designed and reviewed by one. Our clinical team is led by Dr. Dominic Leong, who holds it at a doctoral level (BCBA-D) and is the only practicing BCBA-D in Southeast Asia.
We Do Not Prescribe, and We Work Alongside Those Who Do
We are not doctors and we do not prescribe medication. Behaviour support works whether or not your child takes it, and we are glad to work alongside your paediatrician or psychiatrist if they are involved.
Data You Can Actually Read
We track every session and go through progress with you regularly, in plain language rather than jargon, so you can see what is changing and what is not.
Skills That Travel to School and Home
Focus and self-control matter most in a classroom and at the dinner table. We build for those places, and equip you and your child’s teachers so gains hold when we are not there.

Testimonials
What Parents and Partners Say About Us
What I appreciate most about his approach is his ability to work collaboratively with our family’s needs.
He took the time to understand our goals and concerns, and consistently provided us with feedback and strategies to support Ian’s progress. His assistance in helping Ian learn how to queue and wait nicely is just one example.
Thank you for the great work he has done with Ian. Although we are putting a stop to the therapy sessions due to other commitments, we look forward to seeing him again in the upcoming social classes.
Our son loved Stephanie and we loved how open and transparent she was with explaining how sessions with Jason went. We would highly recommend Stephanie. Finally, we wanted to inform how Stephanie is a wonderful and trustworthy professional. She deeply cares for children and is deeply passionate about bettering the lives of special needs children. Thank you for taking the time to read our testimonial.
What impressed me most was how the lessons went beyond simple social rules. They helped my child understand tone, body language, and how to adjust responses based on different situations. These are advanced conversational skills that have made a real difference in how my child interacts with peers and adults.
I have seen growth in his ability to join group discussions, maintain conversations, and show awareness of how his words can affect others
Beyond the class, our teachers also learnt so much from him, and we still use his techniques today. His guidance has helped us open more doors to make the joy of the arts accessible to every child!
